Terms & Conditions For Winter Wonderland NI

The venue management reserves the right at their sole discretion to refuse admission and in this instance a refund may be offered at the sole discretion of the event promoter.

This ticket can only be purchased for personal use only, and not purchased as part of any form of business or commercial activity, the ticket may not be resold or offered for resale by anyone whether at a premium or otherwise.

Resale or attempted resale at a price higher than face value is grounds for cancellation without notice or refund.

The venue, promoter or producer and its affiliates, successors, or assigns may enforce these terms in accordance with the provisions of the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 (the Act). Except as provided above, this agreement does not create any right enforceable by any person who is not a party to it under the Act, but does not affect any right or remedy that a third party has which exists or is available apart from that Act.

It is your responsibility to ascertain whether an event has been cancelled and the date and time of any rearranged event.

Tickets are non refundable or exchangable except in the event of cancellation.

If an event is cancelled it is the responsibility of the event promoter to provide a refund the face value of tickets and the booking fee to the customer. Refunds will be given within 28 days of receiving the relevant funds. This does not affect your statutory rights. Breach of any  Rules and Regulations or any unacceptable behaviour likely to cause damage, nuisance or injury shall entitle the venue, promoter or producer to eject you from the venue.

The venue has the right to conduct security searches.

Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable interval, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
Latecomers not admitted are in no way entitled to a refund; always allow sufficient travelling time to the venue.
It is your responsibility to check your tickets; mistakes cannot always be rectified.

We will not be responsible for any tickets that are lost or stolen.

Tickets are sold subject to the venue, promoter or producers right to alter or vary the bill due to events or circumstances beyond its reasonable control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.

The unauthorised use of photographic and recording equipment is prohibited. Tapes or films may be destroyed. Laser pens, dogs (except guide dogs) are not permitted in the venue. The promoter or producer accept no responsibility for any personal property. Food and drink only purchased on the premises will be allowed.

The venue, promoter or producer reserves the right to provide alternative seats to those specified on the ticket at their discretion. Some events may be filmed or photographed for promotional purposes. Please check with the event organizer or the duty manager at the event if this would present a problem to you as the customer. Pass-outs and re-admissions are at the sole discretion of the venue, promoter or producer.

Tickets will usually be sent by the next working day after you have booked via your email confirmation.
 No parties shall have any further liability beyond the face value of the ticket.

Frequently Asked Questions

When you place your order you will automatically receive an order confirmation. This confirmation can be used as a paper ticket. You can print it off and bring it with you, or you can show us the copy on your mobile device (we do like to save paper).

However, if in the rush to get out the door, you forget to bring your mobile device, or you don’t have a paper ticket with, don’t panic. We have a record of your booking and will be able to look up your details as you come in – it may just take a bit longer to get in.

Your bookings will be listed on the day next to your time slot, so if you can’t remember what time your booking to see Santa is at, we can tell you as you arrive.

The time slots are for your visit to see Santa. These are allocated specifically at these time slots to avoid queues. Your time slot will also be personalised against your child’s name.

We would recommend getting to Santa’s grotto about five minutes before your scheduled slot so we can get you in as quickly as possible – that way you have less stress and hassle, and your children get to maximise their time with Father Christmas.

If you want to arrive at Winter Wonderland NI before your timeslot, we highly recommend it. There is going to be fun activities happening all day, so we really would recommend arriving early to make the most of your time with us. You are more than welcome to spend as much time as you like visiting our attraction after you timeslot with Father Christmas.

All day if you want!!!

We open at 11am and close at 8pm, you are welcome to spend as long as you like on the day of your ticket. You and your family are more than welcome to spend as long as you like on the day of your ticket.

There are loads of activities and fun events happening all day. If you want to spend a full 9 hours with us, you can – that would be a very long day though!!

We do really recommend giving yourself a few hours either side of your timeslot, this way, you can really enjoy the magic of Winter Wonderland NI. Your ticket time only refers to timeslot that you and your family are booked in for the Santa Claus experience.

There is so much else to do at Winter Wonderland NI 2017, that you plan to spend a couple of hours either side of your timeslot to make sure that you can truly make the most of this fantastic day out.

Once you have gained entry with your ticket all the attractions are included. You will also receive a complimentary framed photo from Santa’s grottos.

Some of the extras that we sell, like letters from Santa, or the Christmas Eve Pack are available at an additional cost. It’s also worth checking out all the events, like films, our ice-rink, and our Christmas marketplace for full details about how you can fill your day.

The Clandeboye Estate is easily accessible. It is located just off the dual carriage way from Bangor to Belfast.

You can easily drive to the event, and there will be parking available. Alternatively there is a bus service that runs frequently from Bangor so you can connect with other local bus and train services. Full details, including links to public timetables and maps can be found on our venue page.

And yes, you can even ride or walk to the event. But be warned, it may be slippery and snowy. You may need some tennis rackets on your boots or even a red nosed reindeer to guide your sleigh.

If you are going to be late, or you think that you might miss your appointment with Santa, we would recommend contacting us at the earliest opportunity. Unfortunately, this may mean that you miss your appointment time, and we cannot guarantee that we will have availability to fit you in elsewhere.

We would recommend that you ensure that you arrive at the Clandeboye Estate with plenty of time to spare. After all, there is so much going on at the event, you will be very well entertained and will wish you had arrived earlier to make the most of it.

We only have restrictions on the number of children that Santa can see at any given time. So bring them along. There are no number limits on the number of adults or senior citizens that can come to the event. So the more the merrier!

You may also be able buy tickets for adults and senior citizens at the entrance – but we will confirm that nearer the event. The best thing to do is to get in touch with us before you arrive so we can confirm that there will be no issues

The best thing to do is to get in contact. We cannot guarantee that we will be able to book you into an alternative timeslot or day, but we will try our best to meet your needs. It all depends how many tickets are sold and how much availability that we have left.

While Under 3's can get in for free (yes, as long as you don't want them to get a present from Santa, you can just turn up with them), there are restrictions on the number of children that we can have for the "Santa's experience".

As a result, tickets for Under 3's and Children to visit Santa will not be available on the day. 

For Adults and Senior Citizens, we can accept payment on arrival. However, you can book additional adult and senior citizens tickets using your mobile device on the way to the event.

We would suggest that you plan that there will be no more tickets available on the day – if you assume that there won’t be, then you won’t get caught out. The advice is book as early as you can.

As always, if you are unsure, get in contact and we can see what we can sort out for you.

We will be launching an online directory of all the businesses that will be at the event. This will include their contact details so if you want to contact them before hand so they can show you something special while you are there, it will make things easier. It also means that you can find the businesses that you met on the day if you realise that you should have purchased that special present when you saw it.

The timeslots only refer to your allocated time with Father Christmas. We are finding that the timeslots that land on the hour are extremely popular. It is worth checking the slots before and after your desired ones. Remember, Winter Wonderland NI is a fun packed day out with exciting events and activities happening all day. You won’t be hanging around while you wait for your appointment with St, Nicholas.

Children 3 and under are able to gain entry free of charge and take part in the age appropriate activities that we have on offer for them.

However, if you want them to receive a gift and photo from Santa there is a small charge of £5 per child. If you do have a child under three and you want them to have the “Father Christmas” experience, make sure you book a ticket along with the ones for the rest of your family.

If you do not want your child to enjoy meeting Santa, then there is no need to purchase a ticket for them.

It is highly recommended – you wouldn’t want to miss the main event!!!
